Badamees are a Hyderabad original. A cross between a traditional Indian almond sweet and a baked biscuit, Badamees are made from a base of whole almonds, sugar, and binding agents that are shaped by hand and baked slowly until they develop a firm, slightly chewy texture on the outside with a dense, nutty centre.
Dadu's has been making Badamees since 1983. The recipe has not changed because it does not need to. Each piece is packed with the natural flavour of real almonds and carries none of the artificial aftertaste that comes with factory-made nut biscuits. The signature packaging, now available in both a box and a round tin, has made Badamees one of the most recognised gifting products in the Dadu's catalogue.

What Makes Dadu's Badamees Different

Whole Almonds, Not Almond Paste
Many mass-produced almond biscuits are made from defatted almond powder or paste. Dadu's Badamees use whole almonds that are ground fresh, which means every piece retains the natural oils and full flavour of the nut. The difference in taste is immediate.

Slow Baked, Not Flash Fried
Badamees are baked, not fried. The slow baking process develops a firm exterior while keeping the interior dense and moist. This also means they have a longer natural shelf life without the need for preservatives.
